Their Story
Magic and Muscles paths originally crossed in 2019. Both were hired for a roaring 20’s New Year’s Event. At that moment they both had a strange coincidence - the other knew what the other one was thinking. As a joke, Magic wrote down a number between 1 and 1000 and did not tell Muscles. Laughing at this silly game Muscles responded, “550.” Shocked, Magic revealed on their piece of paper “550.” Magic, an established magician was shocked and did not know how Muscles did it. Muscles thought it was a magic trick and was highly amused and thought nothing more of it than parlor tricks.
Later on, their pathways crossed again, this time on a train back from Chicago. The odds of running into each other in Chicago are low. The odds that they would both be in Chicago at the same time going to the same destination are even less. The odds that they would utilize a share ride app and be in the same car going to the same place to get to the same destination are extremely rare. They decided to sit next to each other on the train. Magic was working on her new show with a song about lollipops in her mind. At that very moment, Muscles reached into her bag to snack on candy - a lollipop.
More coincidences happened. They performed together in a show. Muscles started to hum a song that was in Magic’s head. Amused, Magic said, “That song is in my head! Weird!” At that moment, Magic remembered the other coincidences including the number and lollipop.
It was at that moment when Magic and Muscles said at the same time, nearly interrupting each other but in-sync, “I still don’t know how…” pausing “550.”
